Hi there, my name is Nicola Watson and I’m the founder of Northern Creatives based in my home town of Penrith, Cumbria.

A little bit about myself. For the last 25 years, I’ve been working as an Art, Design and Photography teacher in Secondary school education. I have also researched and been part of enriching the curriculum in primary school. Through this work I’ve delivered and engaged in a vast and varied amount of projects throughout Cumbria and the UK.

On top of this, I’m a hard working mum of three, living and working in Cumbria, close to the beautiful Lake District National Park.

My passion is bringing joy to people through arts and crafts and enriching their skills. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never picked up a paint brush, consider yourself the next Picasso, or a parent with a home-educated child, a community group, SEN or a class of Primary or Secondary school children – I’m here to guide you through your art journey.
